The City of Rio Grande city launched its month-long Founder’s Day celebration with a special kickoff event at the Kelsey Bass Museum last week, honoring its rich history and the achievements of its community.
The event served as a tribute to Rio Grande City’s founders and the progress the city has made over the years. Attendees gathered to reflect on significant milestones and the growth of the community.
“This celebration is a testament to the dedication and resilience of our residents,” said Rio Grande City Mayor Gilberto Falcon. “It’s inspiring to see how far we’ve come and to honor those who laid the foundation for our future.”
Founder’s Day events will continue throughout February, highlighting the city’s cultural heritage and the contributions of its pioneers.
