Traditionally held during daylight hours, the Color Rain Dash and Health Fair will undergo a transformation this year as it embraces the allure of the night. With registration kicking off at 5 p.m., participants can expect an evening filled with excitement, laughter, and a kaleidoscope of colors.

"We're thrilled to introduce this new twist to the Color Rain Dash and Health Fair," Rio Grande City Mayor Joel Villarreal. "Bringing the event to the nighttime hours adds an extra element of magic and energy, making it a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved."

As dusk descends, participants will embark on a 5K run through a dazzling array of color stations, where they'll be doused in vibrant powdered hues, creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle against the backdrop of the evening sky. The experience promises to ignite the senses and leave participants glowing with joy and excitement.

In addition to the Color Rain Dash, the event will feature a kids run and obstacle course, providing young participants with an opportunity to unleash their energy and enthusiasm in a fun and engaging setting. From navigating inflatable obstacles to sprinting through bursts of color, children will delight in the excitement of the evening's festivities.

Complementing the festivities, the Health Fair will offer attendees valuable resources and information aimed at promoting health and wellness within the community. From free health screenings to educational materials on nutrition and fitness, the Health Fair highlights the event's commitment to supporting the well-being of participants.
