Kelsey-Bass Museum to Host Heart Health Event Ahead of Valentine’s Day

The Kelsey Bass Museum and Event Center will host Heartfelt Health: A Valentine’s Day Wellness Boost on February 5 at 12 p.m., featuring a presentation on heart health by Dr. Dileep Menon, a board-certified cardiologist at DHR Health Specialty Clinic in Rio Grande City.

Menon, along with staff from Starr County Memorial Hospital’s Cardio-Pulmonary and Radiology Department, will discuss key strategies for maintaining a healthy heart, including prevention and wellness tips.

The event, organized in partnership with DHR Health and Starr County Memorial Hospital, is free to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to learn more about heart health, especially with February being American Heart Month,” Kelsey-Bass Museum exhibit coordinator Cathy Rubio.

The Kelsey Bass Museum and Event Center, located at 101 S Washington St., regularly hosts educational and community events. For more information, visit www.cityofrgc.com
