Small business owners are invited to attend a free workshop on February 12, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, located at 801 E. Fern Ave. in McAllen. “Building Your Online Presence” is a session that teaches owners how they can optimize their online reputation; manage their brand through proactive engagement; enhance their marketing strategy through digital media; connect with customers; review their “online score-card”; and much more. The session is presented by digital media expert Jeanette Greider with AIM Media Texas (digitalAIM Media). “It is important that business owners take ownership of their online reputation, protect it, and use it to their advantage. Taking a responsive approach online is key to effectively managing the brand of the business and safeguarding current and future customers,” shares Maria D. Juarez, Director of the UTRGV SBDC. The session is hosted by the UTRGV SBDC and RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. There is no fee but pre-registration is required.
