The Rio Grande City Tourism Department and the Kelsey-Bass Museum announce registration to participate in the 2019 Miss Freedom Fest Beauty Pageant has been extended to May 31.
The pageant is open to all girls from Rio Grande City ages 5 -20. The registration fee is $35. Applications are available for pick-up at the Kelsey-Bass Museum located on 101 S. Washington, or online at www.cityofrgc.com.
The 2019 Miss Freedom Fest Beauty Pageant will take place on Friday, June 7, at the South Texas College Starr County Campus Auditorium. Prizes will include crown, sash, photos, flowers and gifts, and winners will hold their titles until next year's pageant.
Throughout the year, the Miss Freedom Fest Court is invited to be a part of all major city events including Freedom Fest, Viva Mexico, and all city sponsored holiday festivities.
